Race and Start Time

The Race is run entirely within Puddicombe Estate Farms and Winery, through vineyards and orchards and on traffic-free, clearly marked gravel roads, forest paths, trails and farm lanes.

Race start time is 10:00 a.m. and the Race will be chip timed by ChipTime Results Inc., using the ChampionChip timing system.

For safety reasons, bicycles, in-line skates, strollers and dogs will not be allowed on the course.
And please, no spikes.

The Course


The Vintage 2005 5k Harvest Run features a dazzling and challenging single loop course through the vineyards, orchards, and trails of Puddicombe Estate Farms and Winery, including a breathtaking climb up the Niagara Escarpment!

Race Kit Pick-Up:

Race kits, including ChampionChip for race timing, may be picked up on Race Day only, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Please ensure you return your timing chip in order not to incur any financial charges.

ORA and Race Accreditation:

The Ontario Roadrunners Association ("ORA") is a non-profit organization which promotes road running and provides runners of all ages and abilities with the opportunity to achieve personal excellence through programs and services founded on the principles of safety and fair play.

The ORA logo, the official accreditation symbol of the ORA, is a runner's guide to quality racing. By displaying this logo and accreditation number on race entry forms the race director signifies compliance with ORA standards of quality. Prior to granting accreditation to a race, ORA ensures compliance with an extensive list of factors, such as the availability of medical personnel, course marking, course measurement, fluid replacement stations, separation from vehicle traffic, washrooms, availability of results, etc.

    Puddicombe Estate Farms and Winery is located at 1468 Highway #8 in Winona, Ontario. Take the QEW to Fifty road, go south to Highway #8, then head east on Highway #8 to Puddicombe Estate Farms and Winery. Watch for the Puddicombe signs!
